Junior Tennis

Welcome to the Junior section of the KUTC website.

On 6 February we are going to hold our Parent and Child Tournament.  Please fill out anentry form and come and join us for a fun tournament to get back in the swing of things before interclub starts!

Junior club night will start on Friday 10 February 2012

Social Teenage Club night will start Wednesday 15 February @6.30pm - 8.30pm

KUTC has a strong group of junior tennis players ranging from beginners to representative players.  We have approximately 25 junior interclub teams as well as some of our juniors playing in the Womens and Mens leagues.  A number of our juniors are now playing in tournaments around the Central region, and further afield.

During terms 1 and 4 we run a club night for juniors of all ages and abilities.  5.30 - 7.30 is for any players from beginners upwards and from 7.00 juniors who can play matches are organised into doubles play.  We run a barbecue on Friday nights manned by parent volunteers. Junior club night will start on Friday 10 February 2012.

During terms 2 and 3 organised matchplay is run on Friday nights from 5.30pm and the courts are available for ladder challenges.

Two club events on the calendar are the Parent Child Tournament and the Junior Club Champs. These are both a lot of fun and further details and results can be found by clicking the links.

Social Tennis for Teenagers

We run a club night for teenagers aimed at YR 9-13 students.  This will be held 6.30pm-8.30pm Wednesday evenings, starting Wednesday 15 February.  Play will generally be doubles, rostered on for timed intervals and supervised by parents. Details here. Please contact us to help by supervising one night a term - we need your help to make it happen!
