Midweek Tennis is a great way for players and parents to get back into sport. Whether returning to tennis or a beginner, players of all abilities are welcome.

Melbourne Cup Tournament

A fun tournament was held on Melbourne Cup day with some great hats and a race sweepstake to add to the morning's fun!  Thanks Gay for organising this event once again!

Kerry Dear Tournament

24 players played in the Kerry Dear tournament with some closely fought matches and great tennis. This year's winners were Jackie Jacob and Janice Campbell, and runners up were Jo Botica and Alison Phua.

Club Days

Our club days are Tuesday and Thursday 9.30am-12.00pm September to December, and 9.00am-12.00pm January to May.

There are organised games and childminding while you play during the Summer Season. The Club has a safe and fun play area, both inside and outside for young children. 

Courts continue to be available for Midweek play during the Winter months.  Courts 1 and 2 are booked during this time from 9.30am -12pm on Tuesday and Thursday mornings for informal play. Just turn up and organise yourselves. There is no childminding during the Winter months.

Interclub                                      

Tennis Central runs a Midweek Tennis Interclub Competition on Monday and Friday Mornings during the Summer Season.  There are several teams entered in this competition covering all ability levels. Teams of 4-5 members play each Monday from October-November and February-March.

Friday mornings are for Mixed Grade teams, and is an open grade.

If it rains on Mondays or Fridays another day in the week must be found to play the match.
