The 2011 senior club championships were held on Sunday April 17 after all scheduled play on the Saturday fell victim to the weather. As a result planned Consolation events could not go ahead, but there was plenty of action on the Sunday and a great atmosphere at the Club. The format was shortened so that all matches were first to 9 games with a tiebreak at 8-all.
The juniors dominated the events and won most of the prizes. Sam and Luke Piercey battled it out in the final of the Mens Singles for the third successive year. This year Luke beat Sam to regain the title after his defeat last year. Emily Murchland beat Cath Randall to win the Womens Singles - her first Senior title - while the Fiennes girls, Emily and Leandra, followed up recent successes by winning the Womens Doubles. Sam Piercey won the Mens Doubles again - this time with his father, Marc, instead of his brother, Luke. Sam also won the Mixed Doubles, combining with Anna Ruben to beat Luke, and his cousin, Emily Bizot.
