Senior Membership

There are regular social times all year round. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 7.30pm-10pm and on Saturday afternoons from 1.30pm onwards. We play mixed doubles and generally swap around after games of about 20 minutes. It is very social, but we also enjoy a good level of tennis. The senior players take turns being on "duty" at these times, and some guidelines and the duty roster can be found at the following links:

Private coaching sessions are available through our resident coaches Marc Paulik and Jacob Emery through Premier Coaching.

In addition, there are a number of other social activities that take place during the year including the handicap tournament and the club champs.

Senior Interclub

Over the summer, there are a number of different interclub grades: Men’s, Women’s and Mixed grades. These are generally played on Saturday mornings and Sunday afternoons.

Interclub is also played over the winter months in a Mixed grade which plays every second Sunday afternoon.  There is also a separate winter interclub competition run by Hutt Valley Tennis Association. Senior Club Champs

The 2011 senior club championships were due to be held over the weekend of April 15, 16 and 17 but in the end play was only possible on the Sunday because of the weather, with two matches played on the Thursday beforehand. All main draw matches were completed in all events apart from two matches in the Mens Singles event, which were played during the Easter holidays. The juniors dominated the prizewinners with Luke Piercey winning the Mens Singles, Emily Murchland winning the Womens Singles, Emily and Leandra Fiennes winning the Womens Doubles, Sam Piercey and Anna Ruben winning the Mixed Doubles and Sam Piercey (partnered by his father Marc) winning the Mens Doubles.

Unfortunately, there was not enough time to play any Consolation matches as originally scheduled. Full results from this year and previous years can be found here.

Honours Board

The Club Championships have been held for a number of years and now we have a written record of the winners of all five events - Men's Singles, Women's Singles, Men's Doubles, Women's Doubles and Mixed Doubles. Just go to the Honours Board page and click on the event you're interested in.
